Shipping Costs

Deliveries must be signed for! There will be an additional charge if our carrier is unable to deliver on two occasions.

Payment is accepted securely by credit card and goods will be despatched within three working days unless otherwise indicated.
Orders being sent to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will be subject to an additional carriage charge.

Returns

Scottoiler (Scotland) Limited always ensures that customers are satisfied with their purchases and service. As previously stated, Scottoiler kits are under warranty for one year from purchase date. Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) if goods that are not of a satisfactory quality are supplied, you, the consumer are entitled to reject the goods within a 30 days after purchase date.
 
There is no legal obligation for you to return the rejected goods to Scottoiler, but we do ask that you inform us that the rejected goods are available for collection at no cost to you.

Distance Selling Regulations

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification.

To cancel you can email us or write to us within seven days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not use them. Item(s) may be returned to Scottoiler or we can arrange collection (charges may apply).

You may cancel an order for services in the same way within seven days of the date of purchase, unless the services begin sooner.

Security

At Scottoiler we are aware of the concerns customers have about entering their card details when carrying out a transaction. We have therefore put the following measures in place to ensure that paying via our website is as safe as possible:

Any information sent to us is encrypted (scrambled) while being sent over the Internet. When it reaches us we then unencrypt the content so that only authorised personnel can read it. This makes it very difficult for anyone to intercept your details.

You can also request to pay by other means when making a purchase. In this instance a member of our customer services team will phone you to discuss your payment options, such as paying by cheque or telephone.

Scottoiler accepts most major credit and debit cards.



We recommend that you always close down your Internet browser when you have finished shopping online, especially if you use a shared PC. This will delete temporary Internet cookies from any sites that you may have visited.

Privacy

We will not trade or sell any customer details and if we do allow a third party access to your contact details, it will be to reputable companies only and after careful screening. We do send regular e-mails about best offers from the Scottoiler Shop. Should you wish to stop receiving these, there is a simple unsubscribe link in every email.
